Quick Build #14: Easter Bunny

Easter is almost here, and we at BrickNerd wish you a joyful holiday with your family and friends! This special time of the year calls for another fun build. I wanted to create something that one can use as decoration for the upcoming holiday.

I decided to do a cute egg stand and add a little bunny in charge of the painting. The bunny (or at least the head) was inspired by these awesome chibi figures.

Instructions to Build an Easter Egg Stand and Bunny

Let’s start with the stand itself. I used lime green for it with a splash of color, representing the different paints the bunny used to decorate the egg. You can change the “paint” dots with whatever colors you like and even match them with the egg you put on there.

Here are the instructions to build it:

After we’re done with the bunny’s body, comes the head. I wanted to add as much detail as possible, but the bunny ended up looking a little scared or intimidated! 😀 Well, it is a bunny—they are not known for bravery, but to be honest, I love how this guy turned out. I think he’s just realizing how big the egg is in comparison to his body!

Are You Ready For Easter?

And there you have it—a little bunny artist, ready for the holidays! All you have to do is decorate an egg however you like to add it to the scene.

You can download the full parts list here and import it directly to BrickLink. (Parts lists are an XML file that can be uploaded to BrickLink or Stud.io.)

I promise, no Easter eggs were hidden in this build. But if you want to go deeper in the rabbit hole, check the LEGO Community Easter Egg Hunt article by our own Ted Andes.

How are you going to celebrate Easter, build a set, build a MOC, or something entirely different? Let us know in the comments below.
