LEGO Community Headlines and Highlights for June 2025

The first half of 2025 is nearing completion, and June had no shortage of great LEGO content from around the globe!

Here at BrickNerd, we learned about the hidden math behind grids and slopes, looked at some alternate prize potential in the Minifigure Vending Machine, and saw how the color wheel challenge propelled one builder all the way to Billund! We learned some tips for finding inspiration for creating MOCs, studied the history of some often-forgotten early LEGO comics, revisited the three-part story of a true community-minded builder, and showcased amazing early results from Bio Cup 2025 along with Round 1 results.

We also explored some LOTR Balrog-inspired models, saw some delightful Friends movie moment remakes, and turned back time with instructions to build a LEGO cassette tape. A sneakerhead evaluated the new Nike product line, we were offered a behind-the-scenes look at running a successful LEGO-compatible company, and were inspired by a builder who has overcome challenges that would have scared many of us away from the hobby! We tried to determine where the line is drawn between taking inspiration and stealing another’s build.

In fact, we’ve published so many interesting articles in June that we’ve included an interactive calendar of them at the bottom of this post so you can make sure you didn’t miss a thing. But there are many more fascinating stories to be told from within the LEGO community, so here are some of the best LEGO articles and videos that caught our contributors’ attention throughout the month of June. We applaud the effort that went into each of these features, so click on the headlines or photos to head to each story or video. They are well worth your time!
