2025 LEGO Advent Calendar Spoilers: Day 13 [Feature]

Our favorite holiday tradition is opening all six LEGO Advent Calendars, one day at a time, with you, our readers! Along with spoiler pics of the daily gifts, we include commentary and alternate builds to celebrate the season and creativity.

We have an all-star cast of custom minifig creators leading our Advent adventure this year. Fool’s Figures is wizarding his way through Harry Potter and Frozen calendars. ExpansionBricks is launching Star Wars and Friends. And beyondb0nes is digging into Minecraft and City. Now let’s open some doors and see what gifts are in store for today!

Fools: This student might be Angelina Johnson, Gryffindor’s Chaser during Harry’s first few years, but the hair style just isn’t quite right.

Bones: Here comes the second wave of Christmas sweaters, but at the same time, we weren’t going to decorate the Great Hall with only four minifigures!

Fools: Today’s gift is pretty simple, definitely a bit of a filler gift. Just a couple of candles.

Jake: If it could affix to a character’s head, it would be a pretty good Lucia crown. That’s traditional in Scandinavian countries and, presumably, Arendelle.

Fools: Harry Potter might not have a boardgame angle this year, but you can make your own spinner using the dome piece from the Polyjuice Potion build.

Bones: Beyblade is finally becoming a LEGO licensed theme!

Bones: It’s been two years since the Space theme returned to City, so it was only natural for it to make an appearance in the Advent calendars. And here it is, with a torso featuring the Space logo in a very appealing pixel-art style. The plush toy, very trendy this year, was already included in set 42674 and comes in the style of the aliens from this renewed space line. A great little gift for today!

Jake: Classic Space also had a sweater appearance in this year’s pricy Family Christmas Tree set – nice to see it make an appearance in a more affordable set, and in an even more versatile color.

Fools: I love this little alien guy! He fits right in as a plush, but could easily be included in any space setup as a legitimate alien!

Expansion: Could this alien be the baby variant of the Toy Story aliens?? The claawww…

Bones: After the golem from Day 7, here comes the Warden. The same question applies as before: is it at the same scale as the other micro-scale gifts, or is it too big? Fans will surely let us know. Either way, it has a very cute belly!

Fools: The Warden’s proportions are very strange here, but at least the colors are more accurate than on the Iron Golem.

Jake: Two winning gifts! That’s a lot of plastic for a Calendar.

Bones: A totem for today, gotta keep the spirits happy before heading into battle!

Expansion: Star Wars gets some kind of sand crawler inspired buggy. I like the trailer section at the back which has space for cargo like this cat (not included). Lots of useful brackets and snot bricks here 4/5

Bones: I have absolutely no idea what this vehicle is supposed to reference, but the fact that you can fit two minifigures is impressive at this scale.

Expansion: This little Jawa-style vehicle is cute and will provide kids with some good playability.

Expansion: The aforementioned fat cat. Really cute design for this chubby kitty but having no accessories is disappointing 3/5

Bones: Grumpy Cat already appears in so many Friends sets, it’s sad that, unlike the 2024 calendar, it doesn’t have a little festive print to make it a bit more exclusive.

Fools: This grumpy little guy is absolutely adorable, but definitely could’ve included more.

Expansion: Babu Frik got tired of everyone calling him short and built himself a battle mech. Okay and I promise to stop tearing C3PO apart now!

Jake: He’s made to suffer. It’s his lot in life.
