Opinions on the 2017 LEGO Ninjago Movie are mixed. It’s a fun adventure, but many were turned off by the lack of connection to the original lore, with characters acting, well, out of character. I was lucky enough to watch the movie at a time when I knew a bit about Ninjago, but not enough to spot the inconsistencies, so I had a blast.
