Quick Build #18: A Halloween Ghost Trick-or-Treater

Are you scared yet? I doubt it. This brick-built Halloween ghost isn’t here to scare anyone, just to get some candy! Yes, if you peek under that white sheet, there is just a kid in a costume going trick-or-treating.

This build is another idea that our Nerd-in-Chief, Dave, gave me (like our Halloween spider instructions)—and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I was thinking of doing a version of the character without the white cloth, but this might be a fun little challenge for you to build. I dare you!

The costume looks good in person. And those wheels – hard to find them in studio 😀

I really love the cute sneakers and the positioning, which show that this kid is mid-skate, heading to the next house to trick-or-treat. Hopefully that bucket is full if candy by the end of the evening!

Full cloth protection from both front and back, so nobody recognises you 😀

For the wheels, I’ve used the yellow wheels from the small collectible F1 cars that came out earlier this year. Unfortunately, the printed parts are not available in Studio, but you will find them in the parts list, and they can be ordered through BrickLink.

Instructions to Build a Ghost Costume Trick-or-Treater

Let’s get building! We start with the body and the whole ghost costume on top, ending with the skateboard. (Though if you want to build on hard mode, sure, start with the skateboard first!)

You can download the full parts list for the Halloween ghost costume kid here and import it directly to BrickLink. (Parts lists are an XML file that can be uploaded to BrickLink or Stud.io.)
