December has snuck up on us, Christmas decorations are up and illuminating the nights, and hot coco has entered the LEGO rooms. Time to snuggle up with a blanket and build some new MOCs! Here’s the latest bunch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for November 2025 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders.
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Make sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. BDP Series 7 Mini-Build Competition
The Series 7 BDP sets are soon going to be available for pre-order – time to celebrate them with mini builds!

It’s that time of the year again! Our favorite season is back, and it’s got nothing to do with vacations. It’s time for the annual heart MOC build to give campaign!
Since 2017, builders all around the world have helped the LEGO Group donate millions of LEGO® sets to children around the world, spreading the superpower of play to those in need.

Prizes: When you build and share a heart with the hashtag #BuildToGive, the LEGO Group will make a donation through their awesome partners who give out sets in hospitals, care homes, vulnerable communities, and beyond – covering over 25 countries!

Nerdvember 2025: Vacation Edition
Our very own Nerdvember returns, and this time we are sending Nerdly on holiday! Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, we hope you’ll have a fun time with the two very different categories you can enter!
Deadline: January 4th
Prize: First prize winners will receive a 200USD set of their choosing, a shiny Golden Nerdly trophy and a BrickNerd swag box; second and third places will receive a 100USD and 50USD set, respectively.
