Into the Tahu-Verse with hotdog_waffles [Bionicle25]

Hot-headed hero Tahu is the most iconic hero of the Bionicle universe, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Number one Tahu stan and LEGO builder hotdog_waffles has been paying tribute to the king for the last year with Tahu builds that are as inspired as they are insane.

Tahu has yet to appear as a minifigure, but that doesn’t stop hotdog from making an upscaled version!

Maybe you’d prefer your Tahu in a cuter form? If you want to see the baby, “Tagu” is ready for your gaze. This is the way.

In our universe, Nintendo released a boring grey brick of a handheld with dot matrix graphics. In a better universe, cool kids played the TahuBoy, and it came with blazing hot graphics right out of thee box.

What were the best games on the TahuBoy? The Tahu of Time and its sequel the Majorly Tahu Mask, both starring beloved gaming hero TahuLink. You’ve met a terrible fate, haven’t you, Tahu?

Back in the early aughts, when Tahu Fever was at its peak, the red dude was everywhere, even breaking taboos over on Comedy Central. “Screw you guys, I’m going to Ta-Koro.”

But while some cartoons thought they were breaking new ground by going Tahu, we all knew Simpsons already did it.

Tahu was also a trendsetter in the AFOL world, starting traditions that continue to this day. #timetocrab? That was all Tahu.

Sorry, Ron Perlman. There’s only one dude with the swagger to play Big Red. Tahu Helboy will always be the best version of the iconic hero.

Sadly, not all of Tahu’s cinematic endeavors were a smokin’ success. Remember when Tahu starred in the reboot of the Mask? Why didn’t somebody stop him?

Bionicle’s popularity pulled LEGO out of a slump, but Tahu was also single-handedly responsibe for bringing the company back to the brink of financial ruin when he glinched out to Galidor.

Where do you go from such a cursed low? Tahu doesn’t seek redemption. Tahu pushes through. Tahu isn’t just the Toa Mata of Fire – he’s a vibe. He’s hot, but also chill! t a h u w a v e.wav

There’s no point in resisting. It’s Tahu’s worl and we’re just living in it. Get in the Tahu bus, losers. We’re going to Artakha.
