Review: 71045-1 – Collectible Minifigures Series 25

After 14 years, the 25th series of Collectible Minifigures has arrived. Or, if you include the spin-offs: the 44th. Or 47 if you include the VIDIYO figs and Unikitty! who stayed in their own theme. Or, if you include the brick-build Mario figs, the 53th series. I expected this series to be some sort of celebratory series, maybe a ‘best off’ or remakes of classic figs, but at first glance the figures seem to be mostly random as usual. Of course we did have Series 18 which celebrated the 10th anniversary, so perhaps they figured that would be too close together.
