Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing broken crockery with gold lacquer. It’s a way of making an item’s breakage part of its history, and arguably making it more beautiful as a result. If you can’t get hold of any gold lacquer, Stefan Eeckman proves that you can do just as good a job with some LEGO bricks! This broken vase has gained a new lease of life as an acorn elf’s house, and Stefan has done a great job of integrating the plastic bricks to the vase around it. It probably helps that it’s a good match for sand green!
