Considering how easily they fall regardless of their outfit, the Empire sure does like to create bespoke uniforms. Desert, Snow, Scout, Swamp, Storm, Space… there’s a trooper for every possible biome, not to mention the Death, Purge, and Shadow types for when the Empire doesn’t feel bothered to pretend they’re not the baddies. Inspired by the Empire’s penchant for jackboot couture, the Disturbing the Piece Podcast and Faraway Bricks are hosting the Imperial Design Bureau contest, tasking fans to create a trio of needlessly-specific imperial trooper variants in LEGO. Builder Jack McKeen steps up the challenge with a truly inspired trio, starting with the Imperial Force Ghost Busters. Not only do they keep Jedi from meddling after death, but bustin’ has the highest job satisfaction score in the galaxy.
Next, Jack wrangles up an Imperial Animal Control Trooper. For when your mouse droids are beset by actual mice. Like most Stormtroopers, this job is purely no-kill.
Finally, we have the Imperial Tattoo Artist. Because why should Sith get all the cool ink?
