We often talk about LEGO builds that belie their true size, but more often than not, these are microscale builds that look bigger than they actually are. I must admit I got the opposite impression from Andre Odyssey‘s Star Ship Albatross Frontier. At first, this looked like a unique design for a medium-sized, one-man fighter ship – the windscreen and Vic Viper-esque front are probably what led me down that road. But on closer inspection, you start to recognise parts such as the quarter-circle UFO dishes or the minifigure shields on the side, and its true scale becomes apparent. But that only serves to enhance what a great design this is!
